Setting boundaries doesn't mean I don't care about or want to connect with someone.

It just means that I have the right to choose how much affection I give and with whom.

If you're anything like me, you've probably been in a situation where you gave more than you were really comfortable giving. And, again, if you're like me, it tainted how you felt about that person in the future. 😫

And on the other side, I'd rather someone be clear that they are not feeling it right now, than to give in and have the icks with me or feel uncomfortable forever more. 🤷‍♀️
